Use Flexprice for metering precision and Stripe for payment collection. Invoices generated by Flexprice sync automatically to Stripe — no double data entry.
Getting started
Connect Flexprice to your Stripe account in four steps. Once configured, invoices generated by Flexprice sync automatically — Stripe handles payment collection, Flexprice handles metering accuracy.
Connect your Stripe account
Navigate to Settings > Integrations > Stripe. Click 'Connect Stripe Account' and authorize with your Stripe API key. Flexprice stores only a restricted key scoped to invoice and payment operations.
Map pricing plans to Stripe products
For each Flexprice pricing plan, select the corresponding Stripe product. Flexprice will create Stripe Invoices referencing your existing product catalog, keeping your Stripe dashboard coherent.
Configure dunning behavior
Set retry schedules (1-day, 3-day, 7-day defaults or custom). Choose whether to pause service access after the final retry or maintain access during grace periods. Flexprice coordinates retry state with Stripe's payment intent lifecycle.
Test in sandbox
Enable Stripe test mode in the integration settings. Send test events via the API and verify that test invoices appear correctly in your Stripe dashboard before going live.
