An event is any single call to the POST /v1/events endpoint. One API call, one token use, one model inference — each tracked as one event. Batch submissions count as one event per item in the batch array.
Events continue to ingest without interruption. Overage is billed at $0.06 per additional 10,000 events and appears as a line item on your next invoice. You'll receive an email notification when you cross 80% of your plan limit.
Yes. The Developer tier (free, up to 100K events/month) uses the same API and infrastructure as Growth. You can run a real production load test before upgrading. No credit card required for Developer.
